Test 'n Tune Weekend Update

Following a site inspection this afternoon we are full steam ahead for this weekend.  The format of the weekend is below:

Event Timings
Sat 5th  10.00 to 18.00 - arrival and track preparation - pulling from approx 15.00 to 18.00
Sun 6th 10.00 to 17.00 - Main pulling day with BTPA and also PPA tractors running
Mon 7th 10.00 to 17.00 - any outstanding pulling to be completed, probably by lunchtime

On arrival teams and helpers please report to the main gate to receive entry passes, if you have not informed me that you are attending please do so immediately to ensure you are on the list.  All other guests will have to pay the published SCR entry ticket prices

Confirmed attendees so far include

Under 401 PS - Lancashire Bomber, Herbie (if ready)
Prostock - Simply Red, Burnout, Rough Justice, Baby Bear
Modified - Knightmare

A full complement of PPA tractors will also be performing - Garden, Compact Diesel, Mini Modifed

Test 'n Tune Weekend at SCR, Long Marston from 5th to 7th May 2012

Following the Scottish Eliminator sledge's ETPC inspection and it being granted a Bronze level licence we have arranged a Test 'n Tune weekend at Shakespeare County Raceway, Long Marston from the 5th to 7th May.  This is to give the sledge team some valuable experience in a non competitive environment with this new sledge prior to their first event and allow pullers to get ready for the season.

All registered BTPA tractors are welcome, up to 42 engine points but no alky SS or large Modifieds, sorry.  Please let me know ASAP if you can make it so that I can add you to the list.

This weekend there is also a public drag race meeting at SCR so I need to know if you are coming to ensure passes are organised.  You will have to show your BTPA membership cards at the gate so please remember to bring them.

BTPA Registration Forms for 2012 - 2013

The new season's registration forms will hopefully be loaded to the website within the next 24 hours. Hard copies are being sent out to all currently registered competing and non competing members tomorrow Friday 2nd March 2012.
